FORMAT:

The competition will be structured as:

The tournament follows a structured mediation format featuring Preliminary Rounds followed by Advanced Rounds including Semi-Finals and Finals. Each mediation session is designed to simulate real-life mediations and is assessed by experienced ADR professionals. In the Preliminary Rounds, sessions run for 60 minutes, while Advanced Rounds run for 90 minutes. Participants rotate across roles in the preliminary stage to ensure all-round skill development, and the highest-scoring teams advance to the Semi-Final and Final stages, where the competition intensifies.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

All students enrolled in a full-time undergraduate law or business degree programme are eligible to participate in the tournament. Participation is institution-based and subject to successful registration within prescribed timelines.

TEAM COMPOSITION:

Each team must consist of three members from the same college — one Client, one Counsel, and one Mediator. Teams may be accompanied by a coach, who is permitted to observe proceedings upon payment of an additional prescribed fee. Participants rotate roles during the preliminary rounds.

  • 📌 21 January 2026 — Last Date for Final Team Registration

  • 📌 6 February 2026 — Release of Problems

  • 📌 6 March 2026 — Registration, Opening Ceremony & Training Sessions

  • 📌 8 March 2026 — Semi-Finals, Finals & Valedictory Ceremony

Registration Fees

        • 🇮🇳 Indian Teams: ₹15,000 per team

        • 🌍 International Teams: USD 180 per team

        ✔ Includes accommodation, food, and intra-city travel

Awards
  • 🏆 Awards and recognitions are conferred to top-performing teams and participants, judged by an international panel of ADR experts.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 14th February 2026.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
