FORMAT:

The competition will be structured as:

The competition will be conducted in a hybrid format, with online preliminary rounds on 7–8 March 2026 and offline advanced rounds on 3–4 April 2026 at RGNUL. Each mediation session features two negotiating teams and two mediators from different teams, with participants performing structured mediation including joint sessions and caucuses. After the preliminary rounds, top-scoring negotiating teams and mediators advance to the offline knockout stages, where Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Final rounds are conducted. The competition focuses specifically on sports and entertainment law disputes and evaluates mediation skill, strategy, neutrality, and collaboration.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The competition is open to full-time law students enrolled in 3-year or 5-year law programmes at any university in India for the academic year 2025–2026. LL.M. students are not eligible. Each university may nominate one team, while a second team may be considered only upon request and subject to slot availability.

TEAM COMPOSITION:

Each team must consist of three members — one Client, one Counsel (together forming the Negotiating Team), and one Mediator. Roles must be declared at the time of final registration and remain fixed throughout the competition, with any change allowed only with approval of the Organising Committee.

Registration Fees

      •  ₹12,000 per team (exclusive of GST)

      • Includes food, accommodation, and logistics

      • Same fee covers both online and offline rounds

      • No additional fee for teams qualifying to advanced rounds

      • Fee is non-refundable

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 11th February 2026.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
