Event Name

6th IUU Mediation Competition 2026 — organized by ADR Society, School of Law, IMS Unison University, Dehradun

FORMAT:

The competition will be structured as:

The competition is an on-campus mediation simulation featuring four progressive rounds: Preliminary, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Finals. Each round increases in duration and caucus time, testing participants on mediation strategy, issue identification, communication, neutrality, and creative settlement building through live mediation sessions judged on structured scoring parameters.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The competition is open to students from recognized law universities and institutes across India. Participants must carry valid university/college ID cards, maintain anonymity of institutional identity during rounds, and comply with the prescribed dress code and competition rules

TEAM COMPOSITION:

Each team shall consist of a maximum of two members: one Mediator and one Client. Roles are fixed for the duration of the competition, and disclosure of institutional affiliation during mediation rounds is strictly prohibited.

  • Registration Opens: 25 January 2026

  • On-Campus Registration & Inaugural: 19 March 2026

  • Preliminary, Quarter-Final Rounds & Socials: 19 March 2026

  • Semi-Final & Final Rounds: 20 March 2026

  • Valedictory & Prize Distribution: 20 March 2026

  • Competition Dates: 19–20 March 2026

Registration Fees

      • Registration Fee: ₹2,000 per team

      • Includes: Breakfast, lunch, and high tea for both competition days

      • Accommodation: Not included (hotel list provided separately)

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

    Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 28th February 2026.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.

  EVENT NAME: Lex Infinitum 2026 – 11th Edition of the International Dispute Resolution Competition FORMAT: The competition will be structured as : The competition consists of Preliminary Rounds, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and a Final Round . All teams participate in two preliminary rounds, acting once as Requesting Party and once as Responding Party. The top 8 Negotiating Teams and top 4 Mediators advance to the Quarter-Finals.
