FORMAT:

The competition will be structured as:

The competition will be conducted fully on-campus and will include Preliminary Round 1, Preliminary Round 2, Quarter-Final Round, Semi-Final Round, and Final Round. All registered teams compete in the two preliminary rounds, after which qualifying teams advance to the Quarter-Finals and then to the Semi-Finals and Final. The format focuses on grassroots and community-based mediation themes, including land, family, agricultural, and social disputes, combining Panchayat-style solution dialogue with modern mediation ethics. Participants are evaluated on communication, mediation techniques, cultural sensitivity, creativity, neutrality, and ethics.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The competition is open to bonafide students from recognised colleges, institutions, and universities who are currently pursuing a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year Integrated LL.B. programme. Participation is limited to law undergraduates, and the competition language is strictly English.

TEAM COMPOSITION:

Each team must consist of three members — one Client, one Counsel, and one Mediator. A maximum of two teams per institution is permitted. Cross-institutional teams are allowed, meaning members may belong to different institutions. No extra member or observer is allowed beyond the registered three participants.

Registration Fees

      • 🇮🇳 National Teams:

        • ₹3,000 per team — without accommodation

        • ₹4,000 per team — with accommodation

      • 🌍 International Teams:

        • $50 per team

      ⚠️ Registration fees are non-refundable

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 10 March 2026.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.

  EVENT NAME: Lex Infinitum 2026 – 11th Edition of the International Dispute Resolution Competition FORMAT: The competition will be structured as : The competition consists of Preliminary Rounds, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and a Final Round .
